Yourimbah

Life Outside Classes

Directors

The Directors are like the school captains in the University world, representing the interests of members and students on campus. They are elected to make the student experience worthwhile and are working away to make sure Yourimbah caters for life outside classes - the best in support, facilities, representation, events and activities.

The company, Central Coast Campus Union Ltd (trading as Yourimbah), will have a maximum of nine directors, comprised of:

a) Five University students;
b) One TAFE student;
c) the University Dean, Central Coast, or a person appointed by the University Dean, Central Coast; and
d) Two independent directors appointed by the directors of the compnay

It is the Directors' responsibility to govern Yourimbah by developing and reviewing policies and procedures. They are also there to represent the members to ensure that the company operates in the members’ interests. Even though the term of a Director is one or two years, it is their role to consider the long term future of the company and act accordingly.
